have today I decided to also carry an ePortfolio. It is both good for me, not only because I have never made a ePortfolio, but also because I was so the whole teaching and learning process a lot of intense reflection am. On the other hand, it is perhaps profitable for you because then you get an insight into the organization of such events and in the related difficulties and dangers. Maybe it makes you the design, organization and implementation of such projects in your future classes. :)

Developing a university course is always difficult, because the event times must already be established before the concept. Since this course at an event with online phase is - you could call it blended learning - it was clear that it is useful to define them as a block seminar.

The substantive conception has happened in the summer. I was with Tushar (Doztent the Chinese side) that I already knew from my studies, met in person. Of course this is not always feasible, but in my opinion, it is important to clarify the contents in person, be it via Skype. So we had a 3-hour conversation in which we have negotiated the rough structure and noted. Here I must emphasize negotiation, because the exchange will be profitable for both sides!

After the objectives and course of the exchanges were set up, I devoted myself planning the content of the seminar. Which theoretical fundamentals and especially when need to be communicated to the exchange to support useful? Because the content exchange is planned (after consideration of various factors) for the beginning of the semester, it is relatively difficult to treat all the important content in this phase. You must set priorities so ... A particular difficulty is to adapt to the given dates dar. One has to take but what you have ...

But despite the best planning, an (online) project to fail if the necessary technology does not work, or - what may be difficult to prevent - is denied. So our access to Moodle at the last minute are fluttering into the house. It is very important so if one is dependent on something or someone, the modalities and possibilities to clarify in advance.
