In recent weeks you have experienced a situation that textbook authors are not unknown. There are many interesting topics about which one can speak / write, but these issues are sometimes very complex and require an advanced vocabulary. Does that mean that these topics are taboo for beginners? Or how can you work as a teaching artist as a tutor or work up a complex topic so that it is suitable for beginners yet? How are you proceed? What strategies have you used?

The issue of how we should proceed further, I would like to pick one. Since the motivation for the exchange has dropped significantly - you could now say from both sides (hopefully, at our last meeting, not so bad;)), we must try the curiosity of our tutees to wake again. In some works the very exchange (regular mail exchange) to extremely good (workaday chatting) in others just do not.   • If you are interested in chatting corrections, edit the tasks 2 and 3 in the module errors and error correction . This I recommend if you want to do with your tutees a chat session. (Optional)
  • search in the tutees contributions or two grammatical errors and 2 expression and bring it to the meeting at 23.11. with. Try to explain why you have chosen exactly these errors.

As the talks in the session, the motivation of our tutees to the content exchange is rather small. In the 1 Week has shown that our first Vieeeeel session was too short. There was too much new information and we have not had the time to try the technique in detail. As a result, I got to ask within 3 days, 7 E-mails only to password problems. In 14 participants, I think that's pretty much. Fortunately, all problems via e-mail to be clarified. And I felt like a 24-hour online couch, which was sometimes very exhausting. This is not a criticism, just an observation! Next time, the first meeting of a double session!

about online couch: If you leave the school as a teacher, you have "closing time". This should be transferred in the online world. The best is united with the participants' hours "or periods in which the mails will be answered. From personal experience, I know, however, that it is very difficult to keep it even. Above all, if you already working on the PC or just check the mails ... Here we run the risk of "spoiling" the subscribers or get on a (PC) day off even feel guilty!
